Ginny glared at her homework. It was evil. Snape was evil! Ten feet of parchment for an essay on the poisons a list he had given them, their history and uses, antivenoms, the proper way to brew the potion and said antivenoms, how long a person had to live, and blah blah blah. Details, details...He what he wanted from them was more than what the book had to offer! She had only written the introductory paragraph when she gave up. It was such a nice day to go flying! But the Slytherin Quidditch team had booked the pitch so she was stuck here doing homework. Only she didn't want to do homework. She wanted to do something. Anything! As long as it was fun. The beginning of the year had been so hard and stressful with the war and now that it was over it was time for them to live a little. Maybe she could find Hermione, Luna, Harry, Ron, or Neville to spend time with. Hopefully one of them had better ideas of things to do than homework. Ginny pulled her long red hair into a ponytail and looked around the comon room.

Harry was bored out of his mind, so bored in fact that he found himself heading back to the common room in hopes that he would find one of his friend there to at least hang out with. Ron and Hermione were off doing Merlin knows what, he felt very talkative today for some reason hopefully this could be fixed. As he reached the portrait of the Fat Lady he murmured the password and the door swung open. He walked into the common room to find that Ginny was in doing some Homework. He smiled and walked over to the couch she was occupying. "Hey, Ginny." He greeted her as he sat down at the opposite end. "What are you up to?" He asked curiously.
He really should be doing his own homework for Transfiguration but there was plenty of time before the assignment was actually due. Hermione was always worried that he wouldn't get them finished, but he was able to get them done with plenty of effort a day or two before they were due.

The portrait opened and Harry walked in. Ginny sighed in relief and waited as Harry joined her. "Hi, Harry!" she said, groaning as she pressed her forehead against his shoulder for a moment. "I'm avoiding Snape's homework. Merlin, I hate that git! I know he did us good in the war and all, but ten feet of parchment? Really?" Ginny shook her head and pulled up the sheet she had been writing on and waved it in the air. "I got a paragraph done. I don't know how I'll get this done by Thursday, but I'm taking a break! I should have taken a break from his class period, though, I think."
Slughorn had been a much better teacher. He was an annoying prat, but less evil than Snape was. At least he had liked her. The whole Slug Club thing had been a bit creepy, and she had the weirdest feeling he was a pedophile, but he had never done anything to her. He especially had never assigned this much homework before. Snape had to be aiming for torture. "What about you? Tell me you have time to distract me from this nightmare," she laughed, tossing her parchment to the floor and dropping her potions book on top of it. "I might be sick if I have to look at more homework tonight."

Harry chuckled at her misfortune, Look on the bright side, least it was only ten and not twenty." He patted her head in gentle reassurance. He knew ever since Snape had recovered the man was on some sort of crusade to drive all the students insane with ridiculous assignments. It also looked like Slytherin would win the house cup with the amount of point he had been taking from all the other houses. The detentions were even worse, he'd been giving them out right and left and for stupid reasons too.
"I made sure to get Snape's assignments done first so I don't have to look at them till they are due. I honestly think the git doesn't read them at all. Have you seen the state they are in when he hands them back? I am tempted to write him a strongly worded letter!" Harry said as he examined the one paragraph Ginny had managed to write.
She was right though. Slughhorn had been a lot more lenient when came to Potions, but he could never really appreciate how eccentric the man was. Sixth year was a lot better for him in potions as well even if he had help from the Half-Blood Prince (AKA Snape), it was a bloody shame that the man didn't teach classes like that. Snape always expected his students to know what they were doing and he only offered help to the students he liked which only included his Slytherins and the few NEWTS level students he tolerated.
"Actually I do have some freetime. I'm bored my self, was kind of hoping there would be more people in the common room to take away the dullness of the day. It's rather surprising, where is everyone anyways?" Harry queried.

"Don't tell me he gave you twenty," Ginny said, eyes growing wide. She wasn't sure how she was going to do this ten! She had been assigned nearly ten feet by some teachers before, but never this long or on such a boring and complicated a subject! Snape was trying to kill them. death by homework.
"I'm pretty sure he just slashes his wrists and bleeds all over them," Ginny said dryly. "It's horrible! He once scribbled so much on mine I couldn't even understand what it said! there was just red everywhere! You should write him a letter. Or hex him or something. That arsehole needs a good talking to. Or to get laid, really, but who on earth would touch him?" she giggled. Snape was an ugly, evil git and she wouldn't be surprised if he was a virgin! That was probably his problem. He was too ugly to get laid so he was mean to everyone. Maybe if they got someone drunk enough...Or well, maybe he just needed to get good and plastered before class. Drunk Snape would at least be a better teacher.
"Thank Merlin!" Ginny said happily when Harry agreed that he had free time. "I have no idea, really. The Slytherins have the pitch, or else I'd be out practicing. Y'know what you want to do?" she asked, looking around the common room. She wasn't much of a chess person, but she'd suggest it if there was nothing else. Or Exploding Snap. She could even see if anyone had any of Fred and George's products lying around. Anything would be better than sitting around staring at her homework that was not getting done that night.

"It might as well have been twenty that he gave us." Harry grumbled. Snape's essays had been some of the longest he had ever received, he wanted to spoon his eyes out after all the research he did for them.
"It does look like he bleeds all over them, doesn't." Harry laughed. "I really should write him a letter and see what happens, I am pretty tired of writing all those essays and getting horrible grades on them. I worked my arse off on those. Would it hurt to actually give people the grades they deserves?" He shook his head.
"He could probably get a date if he just cleaned himself up a bit. Snape is suppose to be the best Potions Master in the world, couldn't he create a potion that prevents his hair from getting greasy? It wouldn't hurt if he could wear some clothes that are from this century at least." Harry knew that Snape wasn't handsome in the modern sense of the word. He was traditional and so were his looks. There was something he found interesting about it but he wouldn't admit that out loud to anyone. He was still a giant git though.
"I haven't the faintest idea of what to do, I was kind of hoping that you had an idea..." Harry gave her a sheepish grin.

"You'd think he'd get tired of going through all of them," Ginny sighed. "He really does need a life, the poor bastard." Not really a poor Snape, but poor whoever ended up stuck with him! "You should definitely say something, Harry. In fact, I dare you to," Ginny teased. "Maybe I can get out of this stupid essay. Or at least get above a T on it, y'know?"
Ginny nodded thoughtfully as Harry spoke about Snape. "I dunno. Even then, I'm not sure he could get a date," she giggled. "His nose is still huge. And his teeth are bad...and his skin is bad...and his personality is rotten, to boot. You would think, though, right? That the best potions master in the world could do something to fix all of...that." Ginny wasn't really obsessed with someone's looks, but it felt good to be mean to the potions master. It didn't hurt since he couldn't hear them, right?
Harry didn't have an idea about what to do, either, so Ginny sat back and tapped her finger to her mouth. "We can always go convince Snape to get a makeover," she laughed. "Or you can confront him about his assignments...Or we could even go find a blind woman...or man...who will put out! He could be gay, maybe," Ginny said. Then Ginny shuddered. "Ew...I just thought about Snape having a sex life...Like...Picturing it..." Ginny gagged dramatically and laughed and shook her head. "Merlin! I need good mental images now. Feel like spying on the Slytherins? We can bring our brooms and go flying when they leave."

Draco was flying around the Quidditch pitch, his eyes scanning the grounds for a certain someone. He found her, walking along with Scarhead, towards the pitch. Her long red hair flowed in the breeze, and Draco felt himself smirk at the sight of it. He had always found Ginny attractive, even if she was a blood traitor.
He grabbed his broom hard, and pointed it towards the ground, before soaring at Ginny and Pothead. Landing smoothly, he dismounted and strutted over to the pair.
He grinned at Ginny's raised eyebrows, and wiggled his in return. "Like something you see, Weasley?" he smirked.
His grin widened at Harry's suspicious look, and he took a step towards Ginny, his hand stretching out and wrapping around the Red head's shoulders.
"Me and you would make a good pair, don't you think? You could of been a good Slytherin. Shame" He said softly, his mouth close to her ear. Her hair was tickling his nose but he didn't mind.
He looked over at Potter, "You don't mind if I steal Weasley for a bit, do you?"
He didn't wait for Potter to reply. Grabbing Ginny's hand, he pulled her off the pitch, and towards the Castle.
Draco knew about Ginny liking Potter, and didn't think much of it. She could do so much better than Scarhead, atleast that's what he thought. Someone like him, was a much better match. He was strong, powerful, goodlooking and incredibly smart. Who wouldn't want him? He smoothed his hair with his free hand, and pulled the red head closer.

(time to run with it!)Harry held a firm dislike for Draco even though he had saved that ferrets ass from the fiend fyre. He really should have let that bastard fry, but it would have gone against his Gryffindor-esk nature. Bugger.
Though he held his him firm belief that the wizard and people like him were terrible people, he'd like to think they could have been decent friends all considering. Would they have been if he let the Sorting Hat place him in Slytherin? Perhaps.
It wasn't like he had anything better to do in the first place, but with Draco stealing Ginny like that he was left to contemplate her dare. It would be rather entertaining to write the greasy git of a Potions Master a note in his homework to see what would happen. Since he was left alone perhaps he should actually attend class....
"Thats fine Malfoy, it wasn't like i was talking to her or anything!" Harry Yelled after them.

Draco looked back over his shoulder and sent the V sign to Harry, before returning his gaze to Ginny. She was carefully avoiding his eye contact, but since when did that stop a Malfoy? His own Father had to use the Imperio curse to get his Mother to marry him. Still, Draco hoped it wouldn't come to that with Ginny.
"So," He began, tightening his grip on Ginny's waist. "Fancy coming to the Slytherin common room? Everyone's at class, so ... Just be us two"
He wasn't sure what it was he liked about Ginny, only that she was fiesty, smart and beautiful. If only she was in Slytherin, but still, you couldn't have everything. Maybe if he befriended Harry, Ginny would like him more. Draco glanced back at the black haired boy, his brain working overtime. If Draco and Harry were friends, then Ginny would like him more, it all made sense.
"Why don't we invite Potter too?" He said sweetly.

Ginny and Harry walked down to the pitch while Ginny tried to get bad images of Snape out of her head. She didn't even notice Draco coming towards them until he was right with them. Her brown eyes narrowed as Draco addressed her. She hadn't even been looking at him! But she did like what she saw. While she had been thinking about girls for a year now, she knew she had to be bisexual. Draco Malfoy was deifnitley good looking, if only he wasn't such a prat.
"Not really, no," Ginny said coolly. She scowled as Draco put his arm around her. "No we wouldn't be a good pair because you're a complete arse, Malfoy!" With his mouth so close to her ear, though, Ginny shivered and folded her arms over her chest. No matter how good looking he was, he was a jerk. That didn't matter much to Draco, though, as he started pulling her away. She heard Harry yell after them and contemplated asking him to help her, but Ginny figured she could handle Draco on her own. He was nothing but a blond prick who was more talk than action. He couldn't do anything. "Remember what I said, Harry!" Ginny called back. Maybe if this went on with Draco for too long then Harry could go bug Snape or something. She was curious asto what would come of that confrontation.
Draco pulled her closer and Ginny pushed away. "What are you doing? I didn't think you were into girls, Malfoy. Between your obsession with your hair and how you suck up to Snape, I was sure you were taking it up the arse from him." Then Ginny cringed. "Oh Merlin, more mental images! Gross, gross, gross!"
Draco mentioned going to the Slytherin common room and inviting Harry. Ginny raised her eyebrow in surprise. That seemed...suspicious. "You're not going to try to rape us, are you? You may not know this, Malfoy, but I hit harder than Hermione." Then she turned around. "Hey, Harry, c'mere!"

Draco cringed. Mental images were flooding his mind now. Snape naked behind him, telling him to relax. Snape's long, greasy black hair hovering over his crotch. He shook his head, begging the images to buggering off.
"I'm perfectly straight, We - Ginny" He smirked, "Unless Potter is up for some fun? In which case, I wouldn't say no"
He sniggered at the look on her face, "What? You want Potter all to yourself?" He said, "I'm pretty sure he's the one that's not into girls, judging by the way he looks at Snape"
Judging by the angry look on Ginny's face, he had said the wrong thing. Fuck, this wasn't going where he wanted it too. He was meant to make her like him, not loathe him even more! He cleared his throat quickly, and changed tack. "So, maybe you could visit me at the Manor over Summer?"
Ginny didn't reply, instead she turned to Potter and yelled at him to join them. Draco was annoyed, even though it was his idea. He tried to smile as Potter walked towards them, his eyebrows furrowed in suspicion.
"Thought we could all hang out for a bit. Get to know eachother - Houses unite. That's what Mud - Granger says isn't it?"

"Even you can't resist Harry Potter, can you?" Ginny teased. Draco might claim to be straight, but Ginny wasn't convinced. No straight guy should be that obsessed with his hair. Even if it was very nice hair. She bet it was silky smooth. Then Draco had to go make a comment about Harry. Ginny glared at him. "Harry is not gay! And he's not looking at Snape of all people! You've seen Snape, right? I'm sure your little cronies would have better taste than that...and that's saying a lot, Malfoy."
Ginny raised an eyebrow when Draco mentioned visiting his manor. "Why would I do that?"
Draco had mentioned inviting Harry along so Ginny thought why not. He did have a point about needing the houses to be more united and all, but Ginny didn't trust him all that much. Maybe once they were in the dungeons they could spy on Snape a bit, too. "What do you think, Harry? Should we give him a chance?"

Harry watched the spectacle unfold in front of him. He watched Draco and Ginny, argue?, back and forth and it was rather amusing even though he found Draco's tactics not so tactful. He wondered if her calling him over meant that she needed his assistance. Not that she would actually need or anything, she was notorious for her Bat-Bogey hexes and her explosive temper (she was a Weasley after all).
He had a lot of time to think about his take on sexual attraction and through his years in school he had yet to determine what team he wanted to bat for, he considered himself as a bi-sexual (for the moment). He would admit that Draco was indeed a handsome young man, there was no doubt in that fact. He didn't particularly like his personality and attitude (or some of the people he had in his company). Harry was against having any sort of relations with him aside from a borderline civil relationship.
As he neared the duo Draco addressed him, the request was odd to say the least. Not only was he going after Ginny's affections, Draco was trying to get both Ginny and Harry to "hang out" with him. He shudder at the thought. What a ridiculous though.
"House unity or not I think that I'll pass on your...erm...suggestion."

"Come on Potter. Surely we can put the past behind us?" Draco said, hoping to god that he sounded sincere. He needed Potter to believe him if he wanted to get close to Ginny. He held out his hand, and waited to see if Potter would take it.
"I want to get to know you guys. Just an hour, that's all I ask for, and we can go somewhere else if you want? The lake? Or play some Quidditch? It's completely up to you" he smiled.
Draco had never tried so hard before. Usually people fell at his feet, what with his reputation and family. Even with girls he had no problems, except for this girl. It frustrated, and excited, him to know that Ginny wouldn't be an easy catch.
"Well?" he asked, his hand still poised in mid air "What do you say?"
Maybe, if he was lucky, he could have both Potter and Ginny. But he had to play it right, seem like a nice guy, and get close enough to them before trying anything.
