Playful as a pussy cat

Temporarily out of gas
To absolutely drive you wild, wild
She's out to get you "

GOODMEMORY: Daphne's best memory was spending time with her friend Megan Jones this past summer. She learned that Megan was Muggleborn and that worried her, but she had already dealt with the fact that her new friend was a Huffelpuff. Megan showed her the joys of the Muggle world and while Daphne doesn't know what to think concerning her blood status beliefs anymore, she had a great time.
BADMEMORY: Her worst memory was being beaten in a pageant by her little sister when she was twelve and Astoria was eleven. This was when she began to realize that her younger sister was more charming and more beautiful than her.
HISTORY: Merrick and Larissa were your usual Pureblood couple. They married to the joy of their families, a proper Pureblood union and expected to produce good and proper Pureblood children. Merrick wanted children right away, but Larissa was terrified of having children. They spent their first five years of marriage enjoying a very social life. Merrick was a very successful businessman, in charge of a thriving business of magical transportation while his younger brother worked for the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Transportation. Larissa hosted and attended parties and made friends in Pureblood society and doing her best to make her husband's name good with her own connections as a member of the Burden family.
Finally it was time to perform her duty as a wife and Larissa became pregnant. She was very pleased with the idea of her child being due on Valentine's Day, a very romantic idea and Larissa imagined a gorgeous and charming young girl that she could dress up and show off. To Larissa's displeasure her child was born three days early. Merrick wasn't happy because he wanted a son, as most men do. Still, it was a child and she was a pureblood and it could have surely been worse for them both. They named her Daphne Juno Greengrass.
Larissa spent her days showing off her newborn daughter and dressing her up and introducing her to the young children of her friends. When Daphne was old enough, Larissa started enrolling her in Young Witch Pageants where Daphne did alright...Winning now and then and normally at least placing. By that time, Larissa had managed to have another daughter, a girl named Astoria. Soon the girls were in pageants together and Astoria and Daphne began winning equally. As the oldest and having more time spent with Daphne, Larissa focused her preparations mainly on Daphne.
It was a good childhood. Her parents spoiled her and talked her up to their friends, but had the tendency of pointing out her flaws to her in secret. They wanted perfection as so many did and it didn't bother Daphne much. She wanted to impress them and make them proud. She socialized with others and learned when and where she was more important and higher ranked than others. She learned the importance of blood status, money, reputation and appearances (in that order) and applied them to her life.
At eleven Daphne began Hogwarts the same year as Harry Potter and was ecstatic to be placed into Slytherin. Daphne sucked up to the right people and found her place at school. The summer after Daphne was horrified when she realized her sister was doing better in pageants than her and decided to quit them altogether. School years went by and Astoria joined her. Daphne was relatively close to her sister, though insanely jealous of the girl who was only a year younger than her. Astoria was prettier and more popular than Daphne and she honestly resented her for it.
She was hardly involved in the school dramas, such as Harry Potter saving the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter opening the Chamber of Secrets and destroying the monster that had been petrifying people, and even Sirius Black breaking out of Azkaban. Towards the end of third year, Professor Flitwick asked Daphne to help Hufflepuff Megan Jones with her Charm-work. The two became friends, which was strange. It was even stranger when Megan invited her to her house that summer and Daphne realized they were Muggles. Daphne actually enjoyed herself and turned her week long visit into a month and a half long visit exploring the Muggle world and enjoying adventures such as sneaking off with Megan to get piercings and tattoos (the latter of which Daphne chickened out on).
Now Daphne is back home and isn't as happy as she was when she was staying with Megan. Now it's almost time for Daphne to go into her fourth year at Hogwarts.========================================

RP SAMPLE:Excitement bubbled up inside of Hermione for the first time in weeks. She sat on the floor of the tent, busily and clumsily shoving the empty portrait of Phinease Nigellus back into her small bag. It had all started about an hour ago, when she and Harry had been out very near to the ends of her charms, watching and listening to a group of people talk. Ted Tonks, Dean Thomas, an unfamiliar Wizard, and two goblins. They had spoken of many things, but one of interest was when the two heard them talk of old friends back at Hogwarts: Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood…They had attempted to steal the Sword of Gryffindor from Snape’s office. The two had then rushed back into the tent, fearful for their friends, though Hermione had had a brilliant idea. She had remembered she had packed the portrait of old Hogwarts Headmaster, Phinease Nigellus. He could walk between this portrait and the one in the headmaster’s office…He’d know some things…Hopefully enough to appease their fears.
Ginny, Neville, and Luna had been sentenced to detention in the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid. It wasn’t too horrible, she didn’t think, but other matters became more important. Between arguing with Phineas about not calling certain people certain things, he revealed a bit of information that was of vital importance. He had seen Dumbledore broke open a ring using the sword. The ring, a Horcrux…He had been able to open it with the Sword of Gryffindor. That meant they knew one thing that could destroy the Horcruxes, which meant getting rid of the bloody locket. With the new information, it was easy to get carried away in conversation. From theories about the sword to wondering where the real one could be, too caught up and excited to think to go and get Ron and tell him. They could have told him later…But later very well would never come.
In the midst of racking their brains about where the sword could be, Ron barged in and interrupted with wild claims and angry tones. Hermione jumped up and stared at him in shock. She could hardly wrap her mind around what the was accusing them of. “What?! Ronald! Are you out of your mind?” she snapped, glancing to Harry fearfully before glancing back to Ron. He was usually in a rotten mood, but not usually like this…Not usually spouting off nonsense. “We were talking, Ronald! Talking! We are trying to figure out what to do about these Horcruxes! You were outside! We’ve sort of noticed you don’t exactly like being around us when you have that bloody locket on!” Hermione snapped, panic and irritation and fear all bubbling up inside of her. Hermione shook her head and tried to focus. “Ron, take off the locket!”
