Because of my great love of slash (especially snarry) I'm reworking the site to fit my particular needs I just can't decide if I should go along with keeping Harry and co in Hogwarts or having it post-war and they're...not all grown up, but not students, anymore For any of my fanfic readers, I also thought about doing a similar AU thing as Resistance, but...Yeah, idk. Suggestions would be lovely.

I would make it post-Hogwarts! I just can't think up anything good right now D:
It would be fun to do a soul mates type of thing!

soul mates are super fun <3
I kinda like the idea of post-Hogwarts and having some of the old students come back to teach...but i also like student/teacher relationships...so...idk. That's a hard one for me xD oh well mayhaps I should put it to a vote.
I can't think of much for a site plot, but actual site-wide plots rarely go well, so we REALLY just need to figure out the details of the current universe xD lol

Having it set post-Hogwarts opens up a lot of content I think. People aren't tied to school year specifics and you can do just about anything, where as if things took place at Hogwarts you would be limited with area (I.e Hogsmeade, Forbidden Forest, school grounds). The universe is more expanded, and I realize that a lot of people HATE original/other characters but it could open that grey area as well (if it ever occurs of course). Soul mates are great! I think you could probably set up little events and stuff, I dislike GIANT plots unless everyone is willing to actively participate to bring the even to life. Other wise it becomes derelict and it's forgotten. Then again that is the beauty of RP, people can create their own problems and others can create problems. Just set the prompt and it will bloom from there.

Yeah I think personal plots are better. Site-wide plots put pressure on the staff to execute it and I have not been on a site yet that successfully managed a site-plot. So yeah, I think just getting a basic feel of the current "universe" would be preferable and letting people do their own thing would be better. Post-Hogwarts is good, though some people find Hogwarts era to be more fun to work with. I don't know, really. I'll have to get a few other opinions before I decide anything for sure ^_^

Oh I completely agree with you. I think it might be just the fact that I've read so many wonderful post-Hogwarts stories.
Looking to buy more feedback!
