Galen growled at her as Christian finished restraining him. All of his shackles were as tight as possible, pinning him spread-eagled against the wall, leaving him no room for movement as Danna raised his own bow at him. The first arrow buried itself in his shoulder, sending a drop of blood trickling down his arm. The second mirrored it, and two more were shot into his legs, just above the knee. The stabbing pain was agonizing, and Galen just glared at her, unable to do anything else as his weapons were set ablaze.
"I will," he spat at her. He'd almost been out of here before she'd shown up. He knew more now than he had learned in his entire months hunting Jesse Mercer. Galen would bide his time, pick his moment. And this time, he'd be gone before Danna could even blink.
